At Top Taco, festival-goers sample unlimited taco tastes and signature cocktails from the best restaurants in New Orleans, voting for their favorites to crown five categories of awards: Top Traditional Taco, Top Creative Taco, Top Vegetarian Taco, Top Margarita, and Top Creative Cocktail.
With multiple stages of amazing music, creative tequila lounge areas, an entire tent dedicated to mezcal tastings, and some of the best chefs and mixologists in the city, Top Taco has become the can’t-miss foodie event of the year. In six years, Top Taco has also raised over $200,000 for local children’s charities.

Proceeds from Top Taco benefit the PLEASE Foundation, a Louisiana non-profit dedicated to ending the cycle of poverty through education. PLEASE provides mentorship, leadership training, and scholarships to attend local college-preparatory high schools with a 100% graduation rate. Since 2014, 100% of PLEASE Foundation students have been accepted into college.
